Hello - I've seen Hillsdale Farm mentioned on several websites as a wedding venue. However, I cannot find any further information, or a website. Do you know how I might contact Hillsdale Farm, or if it is even open for public rental?

Julia Greenway

Ms. Young, I so enjoyed reading about the history of Hillsdale Farm.
My aunt & uncle, Ralph & Julia Donnell were caretakers there from late 40's to mid 60's. They lived in the smaller home there on the property.
Some of the happiest times of my life were spent there with them when my sister & I visited from time to time. We spent lots of time canoeing & swimming on the nearby lake. It was like a retreat there in that beautiful country setting with the manor home amongst the trees & the patches of periwinkle & ivy here & there. There was a rose garden out front of the manor home where my aunt loved to clip & display vases of them in her home & for the Richardson family when they were there.
It was a pleasure to see the the photos of the place & a pleasure to write this little bit. Brings back some fond memories.
Sincerely,
Julia Greenway

This is really a great article to reconnect with my hometown. I am proud to be born in the neighborhood. Thanks for this one!
